The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing respondents No.1 to 8 for demarcation of the Gairmumkin Rasta (Passage) bearing Khasra No.868 as per Jamabandi for the year 2020-21 of Village Gurradi, Tehsil Budhlada, District Mansa. 2.

Learned State counsel on instructions from Mr. Pirthi Chand, Tehsildar, submits that the representation for conducting demarcation submitted by the petitioner is pending consideration before the Authorities, who are already seized of the matter. It is further submitted that in all probability the demarcation, as sought by the petitioner, would be carried out within a period of two months from today, and in any case, upto 15.12.2024.
