This is a petition under Section 528 of BNSS for quashing of FIR No.145 dated 16.05.2018, under Sections 323, 452, 506 IPC and 25 of Arms Act, 1959, registered at Police Station Mahesh Nagar, District Ambala with all the consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 05.07.2025 (Annexure P-2).

During the pendency of the dispute, the parties have compromised the matter and filed the present petition for quashing of FIR. 3.

This Court, while issuing notice of motion of 21.08.2025, directed the parties to appear before the trial Court/Area Magistrate, concerned for getting their statements recorded with regard to the compromise. However, the parties did not appear before the trial Court/Area Magistrate for getting their statements recorded. CRM-M-45610-2025 (O&M) -2and the matter was adjourned for 18.12.2025. On 18.012.2025, the matter was adjourned by order for today i.e. 14.01.2026. Report received from the Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Ambala, reveals that the parties failed to appear before the Court for recording their statements. 4.

In view of the above, it seems that the parties are not interested to pursue the present petition. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed.
