RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Prayer in the present petition is for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to arrest private respondent Nos.4 to 6 in cross case registered vide DDR No.32, dated 13.05.2022, under Sections 354-B, 323, 349 IPC in FIR No.104, dated 10.05.2022, registered at Police Station Division No.7, Ludhiana, Annexure P-4 with a further prayer to file the status report of investigation in the said cross case. It has been submitted by counsel for the petitioner that since the date of registration of the cross-case, no progress is being made in the investigation.

Notice of motion to official respondents only, at this stage. On the asking of the Court, Mr.Sandeep Kumar, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent/State and has submitted, on instructions from ASI Deep Chand, that in abovementioned FIR No.104, dated 10.05.2022, challan already stands presented whereas in the cross- case, inquiry is pending. After hearing the counsel for the parties and perusing the MEENU 2022.12.13 17:08 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

CRM-M-53184-2022 -2record, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the State to complete the inquiry/investigation expeditiously preferably within a month from today, in accordance with law.
