Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the grievance raised in the present petition has already been raised in the legal notice dated 03.04.2024, copy of which has been appended as Annexure P-6, and the petitioner would be satisfied at this stage, if the same is decided by passing appropriate speaking order. Notice of motion.
On the asking of the Court, Mr. T.P.S Chawla, Sr. DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondentState. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that in case the representation dated 03.04.2024 (Annexure P-6) has been received in the concerned office, an appropriate order on the same would be passed by respondent No. 2 within a period of 8 weeks of the receipt of copy of this order. Learned State counsel further submits that in case, it is found feasible to accept the claim of the petitioners, the same will be accepted, otherwise due reasons will be mentioned for not accepting the claim of the petitioners in the speaking order to be passed, which will be conveyed to the petitioners. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that keeping in view the statement of the learned counsel for the respondent, present petition may kindly be disposed of as having been not pressed any further. Ordered accordingly.
