The petitioner apprehends danger to his life and liberty at the hands of respondent Nos.4 to 7.

In respect of the grievances raised in the present petition, the petitioner is stated to have submitted a representation dated 10.10.2019 (P.1) to the Sr. Superintendent of Police, Mohali-respondent No.2 but no action is alleged to have been taken thereon so far. Notice of motion.

Ms. Monika Jalota, DAG, Punjab has accepted notice on behalf of State of Punjab.

Without commenting upon the merits of the case or opining on the veracity of the allegations contained in the representation, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to look into the grievance of the petitioner, as raised by him in the application (P.1) and take appropriate action, as may be warranted under law expeditiously.
