The present appeal pertains to the year 2018. The matter is still at the stage of preliminary hearing and has been directed to be listed in the urgent list by way of administrative orders. The matter was shown in the urgent list on 07.08.2023 but none put in appearance on behalf of the appellant and the case was adjourned to 03.11.2023. On 03.11.2023 a request for adjournment was made on behalf of the arguing counsel that he was in personal difficulty and the case was adjourned to today. Today on first call a request for a pass-over was made on behalf of the learned counsel for the appellant. On the second call no one has put in appearance on behalf of the appellant.

It appears that the appellant is not interested in pursuing the present appeal. This Court is left with no option but to dismiss the present appeal for non-prosecution.
