The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for seeking direction to respondent Nos.2 to 4 to take strict legal action against respondent No.5 and to conduct free and fair investigation in FIR No.30, dated 20.05.2022 (Annexure P-1), registered under Sections 420 and 406 IPC, at Police Station Jodhan, District Ludhaina. 2.

None had appeared in this case on the last two dates of hearing. The position remains the same even today.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Sukhjit Singh submits that the FIR has been cancelled and report in that regard stands presented before the competent Court.

The present petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous, with liberty to the petitioner to avail of alternate remedy, if any, in accordance with law.
