Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.99 dated 10.06.2023, under Section 419, 409, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B of Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Dugri, District Ludhiana (Annexure P-1).

Learned State counsel on instruction from ASI Surjit Singh, submits that in compliance of order dated 09.10.2023, the petitioner has joined the investigation, however, recovery of almost Rs. 3,50,000/- is yet to be effected.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a Peon in the Bank and the cheques were stolen which have been misused and more so, the bail of the co-accused Renu Bala, has already been allowed and prays for parity.

In light of the above, since, the petitioner has already joined the investigation, the present petition is disposed of. The order dated 09.10.2023 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner, is made absolute. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so by the Investigating Agency and shall abide by the conditions of Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
