Learned counsel for the petitioners contended that a fraud has been committed upon the petitioners by the private respondents no. 6 to 10 and regarding this they made a complaint to the DIG, Border Range, Amritsar vide Anneuxure P-1 on the paperbook and the same is marked for enquiry and now pending before respondent no. 3 -DSP (HQ), Pathankot. He further submits that at this stage, he would be satisfied if the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 3 to take a decision on the representation (Annexure P-1) submitted on behalf of the petitioners. 2.

Learned State counsel, who appears on advance notice, has no objection if the above prayer is accepted and submits that they will decide SEEMA 2025.08.26 18:39 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

 

   the representation moved by the petitioners as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law.

Accordingly, at this stage, keeping in view the contentions made by learned counsel for the petitioners and without commenting on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 3 to take appropriate action on the aforesaid representation submitted on behalf of the petitioners within a period of two months in accordance with law.

Needless to add that the decision so taken be communicated to the petitioners and if the same is not to the satisfaction of the petitioners, they would be at liberty to challenge the same, in accordance with law.
