Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.85 dated 19.09.2018 under Sections 363, 366, 376 IPC registered at Police Station Kot Fatta, District Bathinda by arguing that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and he is in custody since 19.09.2018.

Learned counsel for the respondent-State opposes grant of bail to the petitioner while arguing that evidence is being led and now the matter is listed for defence evidence.

At this stage, this Court is not inclined to grant concession of bail to the petitioner and consequently the instant petition is dismissed, however, with a direction that the trial Court shall make every endeavour to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible.
