(Oral) Notice of motion, at this stage to respondents No. 1 to 4 only. At the asking of the Court, Mr. Adhiraj Singh, AAG, Punjab appears and accepts notice for respondents No. 1 to 4-State of Punjab. Learned State counsel (on instructions from SI Narinder Kumar) has brought to the notice of this Court that a cancellation report has already been prepared in the matter and the same shall be filed in the Court within three weeks.

Faced with the situation, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to avail alternative remedy as available in law including raising grievance against the said cancellation report.
