In pursuance of the last order dated 18.10.2023, learned State counsel filed status report by way of affidavit sworn by Surinder Singh, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Central, Amritsar City. 2.
This is 3rd regular bail application. The perusal of the status report (supra) revealed that an application filed under Section 319 Cr.P.C. is pending adjudication before the learned trial Court. It further reveals that the charges were framed way back on 08.09.2021. 3.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks withdrawal of the instant petition. However, he prayes that considering the custody period a direction may be issued to the learned trial Court to conclude the trial in a time bound manner.
