By way of present petition filed under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 and Article 227 of the Constitution of India, prayer has been made for initiating contempt proceedings against the respondent for willful non-compliance of the order dated 20.9.2021 passed by this Court in CWP-18698-2021.

Learned State counsel on instructions submits that the order dated 20.09.2021 has been complied with by passing a speaking order by Commissioner of Police, Amritsar.

In view of the aforesaid, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the present petition with liberty to challenge the same in accordance with law.

Dismissed as not pressed with aforesaid liberty. 5.

Rule stands discharged.
