Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondent - authorities to remove the pay anomalies by stepping up and fixing the salary of the petitioner at par with his juniors despite being senior employee in the department is drawing less salary in comparison to his junior i.e. respondent No.6. Further prayer has been made to direct the respondents to consider and decide the representation dated 19.05.2022 (Annexure P-2) filed by the petitioner in a time bound manner. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, confines his prayer for deciding representation dated 19.05.2022 (Annexure P-2). I have heard learned counsel for the parties and have gone through the record of the case.

Without going into the merits of the case at this stage, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the representation dated 19.05.2022 (Annexure P-2), submitted by the petitioner expeditiously, by passing a speaking order, preferably within a period of 03 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
