(ORAL) Prayer in this 3rd petition under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (B.N.S.S.) is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 0026 dated 08.03.2023 registered under Section 376 IPC at Police Station Joga, District Mansa (Annexure P-1). Custody certificate dated 30.09.2024 filed in Court today is taken on record, as per which, the petitioner has undergone the custody period of 1 year, 6 months and 17 days as an undertrial. After arguing for sometime, when this Court is not inclined to accord the benefit of regular bail to the petitioner; learned counsel submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition, at this stage.
