RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Petitioner has approached this Court impugning the order dated 30.09.2022 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge (Fast Track Court) Amritsar, vide which the petitioner has been declared proclaimed offender in case FIR No.25, dated 19.02.2019, under Sections 376, 376-D, 366, 506 IPC and Sections 4 and 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.
Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner was granted regular bail by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Amritsar vide order dated 27.11.2019, however, thereafter he remained absent and on account of the same, he was declared proclaimed offender. After arguing for some time, counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that he wants to withdraw the present petition with liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the Court of competent jurisdiction. Allowed as prayed for.
Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
It is ordered that in case the petitioner appears before the MEENU 2022.11.23 15:47 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment
