(ORAL) Prayer in this 1st petition under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 is for grant of concession of Regular Bail to the petitioner in FIR No. 107 dated 06.06.2024 under Section 363/366/120-B of IPC and Section 3 and 4 of POCSO Act, registered at PS Lopoke, Amritsar Rural. (Annexure P-1).

Custody certificate dated 02.10.2024 filed in Court today is taken on record, as per which, the petitioner has undergone the custody period of 2 months and 5 days as an undertrial. After arguing for sometime, when this Court is not inclined to accord the benefit of regular bail to the petitioner; learned counsel submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition, at this stage.
