Through the instant writ petition, prayer is made for issuance of directions upon the respondent No.1 to take action on the petitioner's representation dated 29.06.2021 (Annexure P-3), and also on the subsequent communications made by the respondent No.2 to it. 2.

The grievance of the petitioner, as enclosed in the instant writ petition, is that his pension has not been fixed at 50% of the last drawn basic pay + dearness pay w.e.f. 01.01.2006. 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the issue engendering the instant writ petition is no more res integra, as it has already been examined and answered by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court, in favour of the employees similarly situated to the petitioner, in DEVINDER YADAV 2025.08.21 12:06 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP-24010-2025 CWP-10967-2012, Decided on: 03.03.2020. He further submits that, the petitioner made a detailed representation to the Registrar General of this High Court, and based thereupon, the latter, vide letter dated 22.09.2022 (Annexure P-4), sought consent from the respondent No.1 for revision of pension/family pension in pursuance of the judgment (supra). However, till date, no final decision has been taken by the respondent No.1. 4.

The learned State counsel, who is in receipt of advance notice and represents the respondent No.1, submits that he has no objection, in case, a direction is passed upon the respondent No.1 to take a final decision upon the letter dated 22.09.2022 in a time bound manner. 5.

In view of the above, this Court deems it appropriate to pass a direction upon the respondent No.1 to take a final decision on the letter dated 22.09.2022 (Annexure P-4) within six weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
