Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in the dispute regarding the property of brother of petitioners, an attempt was made by private respondents to outrage their modesty and injuries were also caused to them. A complaint dated 02.10.2019 (Annexure P-2) has been made to the police in this regard but no action has been taken so far. Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala to look into the allegations in complaint (Annexure P-2) regarding alleged outraging of modesty of petitioners and injuries caused to them, verify the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law. However, it is made clear that no direction is being issued regarding alleged intervention in the property dispute of brother of petitioners regarding which petitioners may avail civil remedy.
