MANJARI NEHRU KAUL , J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition is for quashing of order dated 31.05.2023 (Annexure P-8) passed by learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ferozepur, including FIR No.0073 dated 18.05.2020 under Sections 307, 324, 506, 355, 34 of the IPC registered at Police Station Sadar, Ferozepur and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, submits that he would not press his prayer for quashing of FIR and instead would restrict his prayer for quashing of order dated 31.05.2023 (Annexure P-8).

On asking of the Court, Mr. Mohit Kapoor, Additional Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.1.

In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the instant petition is disposed of with directions to the petitioners to appear and surrender before the trial Court within seven days from today. Till then, no coercive steps be taken against the PUNEET SACHDEVA 2023.10.10 16:17 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document.

It is made clear that in case, the petitioners fail to surrender before the trial Court within seven days from today, this order shall be of no avail to them, thereafter. In case, on appearance and surrender, the petitioners move an application for bail before the trial Court, the same shall be decided expeditiously by the trial Court in accordance with law.
