The present petition has been filed for directions to the respondents No.2 and 3 to protect their life and liberty of petitioner, from the respondents No.4 to 17.

Notice of motion to the respondents No.1 to 3 only. 3.

Since advance notice has already been served upon the State, Mr. Eklavya Darshi, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents No.1 to 3 and waives service. 4.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is being called repeatedly by the police authorities under the garb of complaint filed by respondents No.4 and 5, which caused undue harassment to her. The petitioner has filed representation dated 14.08.2025 (Annexure P8) before the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, but no action has been taken thereon as yet. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2025.08.22 17:13 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document that a direction for disposing of the representation (Annexure P8) be given

Criminal Writ Petition No. 9022 of 2025 to the concerned authorities and the instant writ petition be disposed of. 5.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the present writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2 to pass a speaking order and decide the representations of the petitioner (Annexure P8), as per law, within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

It is, however, made clear that no finding with regard to merits of the allegations is being recorded vide instant order, and the police authorities shall be at liberty to take an independent decision at their own level, with regard to contents of the representation.
