The defendant No.1 to 5, in a suit for grant of decree of declaration to the effect that the plaintiff is joint owner in possession of half share of the property left behind by his maternal grandfather late Sh.Chajju Ram, has filed the present revision petition. 2.
The trial Court has permitted the plaintiff to amend the plaint to the following effect:- "a) In the headnote of the plaint the plaintiff wants to make following amendments by adding following words after the last word "Suit Land".
"In the alternative suit for declaration that plaintiff is joint owner in possession of the Estate left by Chhaju Ram as per Will dated 8-3-1979".
In prayer clause of the plaint the following words may DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2022.08.08 14:06 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
Civil Revision No. 6794 of 2019 (O&M) please be ordered to be added after last words 'Suit Land:- "In the alternative suit for declaration that plaintiff is joint owner in possession of the Estaet left by Chhaju Ram as per Will dated 8-3-1979".

It is evident that the plaintiff has been permitted to amend the caption and the prayer clause of the plaint in order to claim the alternative relief. Such amendment is only formal in nature. 4.
With the observations made above, the present revision petition is disposed of. The miscellaneous application(s) pending, if any, shall also stand disposed of.
