**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL , J Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in a complaint case bearing No. 1885/18 dated 12.2.2018 filed under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. S.S.Cheema, AAG, present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the State. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was to appear before the trial Court on 14.2.2019 but because of some personal problem, he could not appear and instead moved an application for exemption but the same was not entertained by the trial Court and nonbailable warrants were issued against him. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to surrender before the trial Court and face the trial.

Crl. Misc. No. M-46131 of 2019 -2petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to surrender before the trial Court within a period of 10 days from today and the trial Court will release the petitioner on bail subject to his furnishing bail/surety bonds.

It is made clear that in case the petitioner fails to surrender before the trial Court within the stipulated period, this petition shall be deemed to have been dismissed.
