The instant petition has been filed for a direction to the police authorities before whom the representations dated 12.03.2024 and 27.03.2024 (Annexures P2 and P3), respectively, filed by the petitioner, are pending.

Notice of motion to the respondents.

Since advance notice has already been served upon the State, Mr. Eklavya Darshi, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, and waives service. 4.

The contents of the representation, copy of which is attached with the writ petition as Annexures P2 and P3, show that some unknown person had committed fraud of ₹4,00,000/- with the petitioner. In both the representations, the petitioner has also provided the details of mobile numbers. The petitioner filed representations (Annexures P2 and P3), DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2025.08.25 19:05 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document respectively, before the respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police,

Criminal Misc. No. M-45851 of 2025 Fatehgarh Sahib. According to petitioner, no action has been taken as yet. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that a direction for disposing of the representations (Annexures P2 and P3) be given to the concerned authorities and the instant writ petition be disposed of. 5.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the present writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2 to pass a speaking order and decide the representations of the petitioner (Annexures P2 and P3), as per law, within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

It is, however, made clear that no finding with regard to merits of the allegations is being recorded vide instant order, and the police authorities shall be at liberty to take an independent decision with regard to contents of both the representations.
