Today, at the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he confines his prayer to the extent that a direction may be issued to respondent No.3 - The Market Committee, Mallanwal, Tehsil Mallanwal, District Ferozepur to process his application for issuance of a license for running a rice sheller situated on Makhu Road, Mallanwala Khas, District Ferozepur, which he had submitted through 'online' portal, in respect of which he had not been issued any acknowledgment.

Having regard to the limited prayer made before this Court, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 - The Market Committee, Mallanwal, Tehsil Mallanwal, District Ferozepur to consider the application, if any, already received from the petitioner for issuance of a license to run a rice sheller, expeditiously preferably within a period of 3 weeks from today.

In case, any such application is not found to have been submitted till date, it shall be open to the petitioner to submit afresh and in which case such application shall be decided within a period of 3 weeks from filing of such application. In case, the petitioner is found ineligible for issuance of any such license, then a speaking order be passed and a copy of such order be furnished to the petitioner.

A copy of this order be conveyed to respondent No.3 - The Market Committee, Mallanwal, Tehsil Mallanwal, District Ferozepur for necessary compliance.
