***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J . (Oral) Learned State counsel has informed that as on date all the PWs stand examined and the matter is now fixed for recording of statement of accused in terms of Section 313 Cr.P.C. for 9.2.2024. Faced with the aforestated position, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition at this stage with liberty to approach this Court again in case there is inordinate delay in conclusion of trial.

In view of the aforesaid request, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty aforesaid. The trial Court is directed to take all necessary steps for expeditious conclusion of the trial.
