It is noticed that whenever this appeal is listed for preliminary hearing, the learned counsel representing the appellants prays for an adjournment.

In other words, the appeal has not even been considered for preliminary hearing. Hence, the lengthy adjournment is not justified.

As per the office note, the learned counsel representing the appellants has been informed about the date of hearing. Case called twice but the learned counsel for the appellants failed to attend the hearing on both the occasions. It seems that the appellants are not interested in pursuing the appeal.
