The present petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India has been preferred by the petitioners seeking direction to official respondents No.1 to 3 to protect their life and liberty at the hands of private respondents No.4 to 7.

It is, inter alia, contended by learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners had given representation dated 14.08.2025 (Annexure P1) but till date no action thereon has been taken. She submits that for the purpose of this petition, the petitioners will be satisfied if directions are given to respondent No.2 to consider and dispose of the representation dated 14.08.2025 (Annexure P-1) in accordance with law in an expeditious manner.
