Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to restore the basic pension of the petitioners, as the impugned order dated 17.09.2024 (Annexure P-21) vide which the revised pension under para 5.1(a) of the notification dated 29.10.2021 was arbitrarily stopped, had already been set aside by this Court vide order dated 24.10.2024 (Annexure P-38) passed in CWP 28155 of 2024 titled as 'Krishan Lal Batra Vs. PSPCL and others'. Further prayer has been made to direct the respondents to start paying the pension of the petitioners under para 5.1(a) of the notification during the pendency of the present petition. CWP-24191-2025 been sought, directing the respondents to refund the amount which was recovered from the petitioners while in operation of the impugned order. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the issue raised in the present petition has already been decided by the Coordinate Bench of this Court while passing order in CWP No.4027 of 2025 titled as "Dharam Pal and others Vs. Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) and others" decided on 14.02.2025, against which LPA No.799 of 2025 has also been dismissed on 19.03.2025. Learned counsel further submits the present petition be also disposed of in the same terms.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents could not dispute the fact that similar writ petition involving the same issue was disposed of by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Dharam Pal's case (supra).

In view of the above said facts, the present writ petition is also disposed of in terms of the judgment passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Dharam Pal's case (supra). 5.

Pending applications, if any, shall also stand disposed of accordingly.
