(ORAL) Prayer in the present petition under section 528 of BNSS, 2023 is for quashing of the FIR No.30 dated 07.03.2024 under section 406, 498-A of IPC 1860, registered at Police Station City Malout, District Sri Muktsar Sahib (Annexure P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, qua the petitioners, which is against the provisions of the judgment passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in case of State of Haryana Vs. Ch. Bhajan Lal and Ors. Reported in AIR 1992 (SC) 604.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw present petition.

Permitted to do so.
