This petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C for issuance of directions to respondent No.1 to file status report regarding the action they had taken, respondent No.2 to comply with order dated 10.01.2024 passed by Punjab Human Rights Commission, respondent No.3 to take appropriate action against the doctor who did medical negligence and respondent No.4 for misleading by filing inappropriate reply or hiding the facts.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has preferred representation dated 26.12.2023 (Annexure P-3) to respondent No.2 but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.2- Commissioner of Police, Amritsar to look into his Renu Rawat 2026.01.12 16.58 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the prayer made by the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2- Commissioner of Police, Amritsar to take action on the representation dated 26.12.2023 (Annexure P-3) of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass an appropriate order.
