The contesting parties to this appeal have settled the matter through a Compromise Deed Exhibit C1, placed on record, which bears the signature of Surinder Singh-appellant and Harjit Singh-respondent No.1, duly identified by their respective counsel. In view of the compromise arrived at, the suit filed by the plaintiff-respondent is dismissed as withdrawn. The judgment and decree passed by the courts below are set aside.

Keeping in view the settlement, the parties may apply for refund of fee from the competent authority in terms of the provisions of Section 21 of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987. (G.C.
