1. The petitioners seek issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to step-up their pay so as to bring the same at par with their juniors in accordance with Notification dated 22.8.2019 (Annexure P-1) issued by Department of Finance, Government of Punjab.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners confines his prayer to issuance of a direction to respondent No.2-Director General of Police, Punjab Police Head Quarter, Chandigarh, to consider and decide legal notice dated 18.4.2023 (Annexure P-3).

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and without commenting anything as regards the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Director General of Police, Punjab MOHAN SINGH 2023.10.16 16:36 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
