The present petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, seeking issuance of directions to respondents No.2 & 3 to decide the representation dated 23.08.2024 filed by the petitioner regarding threat of life and liberty issued at the hands of respondents No.4 to 6. During course of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he had moved a representation dated 23.08.2024 (Annexure P-2) before respondent No.2, but no action on the same has been taken till date and he would be satisfied, if respondent No.2 is directed to look into and decide the said representation qua the threat perception. Notice of motion.

Ms. Gagandeep Kaur, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice and submitted that she has no objection if the aforesaid representation dated 23.08.2024 (Annexure P-2) is looked into.

CRM-M-45966 of 2025 In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-the Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar, Mohali, to look into the aforesaid representation and decide the same, and to take appropriate steps as per law, if any required, at the earliest, regarding threat perception.
