*** Sudhir Mittal, J. (Oral) Learned State counsel submits that the two marlas land in dispute was acquired earlier i.e. in the year 1988 and, thus, mutation in favour of the petitioner cannot be entered.

In view of the submission made, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the concerned revenue officer to decide the demand for entering a mutation by passing a speaking order within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. The petitioner shall be heard before passing the said order.
