ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petition herein, inter alia, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of application dated 18.06.2021 submitted by the petitioner seeking appointment under the provisions of Haryana Outstanding Sports Person (Group-A, B & C) Service Rules, 2021, in a time bound manner, as similarly situated persons have already been appointed under the aforesaid Rules.

Qua the aforesaid grievance, the petitioner caused legal notice dated 30.06.2022 (Annexure P-8),but the same has not been adverted till date. Hence, the instant writ petition.

On advance service of copy of the petition, learned State counsel appears and submits that a decision will be taken by the competent authority on the pending legal notice dated 30.06.2022 (Annexure P-8), by passing a speaking order.

Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek return by any of the respondents, as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, the instant writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to look into the pending legal notice dated 30.06.2022(Annexure P-8) and decide the same, in accordance with law.

Let the needful be done within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

Disposed of accordingly.
