The prayer in the criminal writ petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 is for issuance of directions to respondent Nos.1 to 3 to conduct a free and fair investigation in FIR No.34 dated 06.05.2025 (Annexure P-1), under Sections 106(1) and 281 of BNS, 2023 registered at Police Station Sarangpur, Chandigarh.

The learned counsel for the State submits that the report under Section 173(2) of Cr.P.C. stands submitted against Vansh and charges have also been framed on 17.12.2025.
