Grievance of the petitioners is that their representations for reservation of office of Sarpanch of village Pohir, Block Dehlon, District Ludhiana has never been considered by the authority. Notice of motion.

On the asking of court, Mr. IPS Doabia, Addl. A.G. Punjab, who is present in court, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondent(s). He submits that at the time of next Panchayat elections, in case any representation is received from the residents of the village, same shall be duly considered. In view of above, no cause of action survives. Petition is disposed of.
