The petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail in respect of FIR No.169 dated 14.8.2017 under Section 22 NDPS Act, Police Station Division No.1, District Jalandhar pursuant to cancellation of his bail by the trial Court on account of his absence before the trial Court on 9.10.2019. 2.

Pursuant to interim directions issued by this Court on 6.11.2019 the petitioner has appeared before the trial Court and has been released on interim bail.

The aforesaid position is not disputed by learned State counsel upon instructions from SI Ramesh Kumar.
