(ORAL) Petition herein, inter alia, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant the benefit of first ACP from due date i.e., 25.06.2016, as the same has allegedly been granted to his junior, namely, Ramesh Kumar, as per Haryana ACP Rules, 2016.

Qua the aforesaid grievance, the petitioner served legal notice dated 05.07.2022 (Annexure P-4) but the same has not been adverted till date. Hence, the instant petition. 3.

On advance service of copy of the petition, learned State counsel appears and submits that a decision will be taken by the competent authority on the legal notice dated 05.07.2022, by passing a speaking order.

Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek return by any of the respondents, as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, the instant writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to look into the pending legal notice dated 05.07.2022(Annexure P-4) and decide the same, in accordance with law.

Let the needful be done within three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
