The present contempt petition has been filed alleging deliberate and intentional disobedience of the order dated 16.02.2023 passed in CWP-14725-2021, whereby the respondent was directed to decide the legal notice dated 25.08.2015 in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of ten weeks.

Learned counsel for the respondent contends that, in compliance with the aforesaid directions, a compliance report by way of affidavit dated 03.07.2025 of Mr. Radhe Shyam Singh, Under Secretary, Ministry of Law and Justice, New Delhi, alongwith order dated 25.03.2025 -1SHUBHAM 2026.02.18 10:08 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document/order

COCP-3190-2023(O&M) (Annexure R-3) has been filed. A copy of the affidavit has been supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner and the same is taken on record. 3.

A perusal of the compliance order dated 25.03.2025 (Annexure R-3) shows that the order dated 16.02.2023 passed in CWP-14725-2021 has been complied with.

In view of the above, the contempt stands purged and the rule is discharged.

Needless to say that liberty is however granted to the petitioner to challenge the compliance report/affidavit dated 03.07.2025 in accordance with law.

All pending miscellaneous applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
