The present petition has been filed, inter alia, for protection of the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of respondent Nos.4 to 8. Respondent No.4-Tammana who is none other than the wife of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the present petition as the matter has been compromised between the parties and prays for withdrawal of the same.

In light of the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
