ARUN PALLI, J (Oral) Learned counsel for the parties submit that, in essence, the grievance of the petitioner (Tara Vanti alias Tara Wanti), is against the demand raised by the respondent authorities towards the additional cost of subject site, owing to enhancement in the cost of acquisition. It is submitted that the petition at hand was filed on September 20, 2024, whereas, during the pendency of the petition, the respondent authorities, vide communication dated October 23, 2024, served upon the petitioner, had furnished her the calculations that formed basis of the impugned demand. A copy of the said communication, along with the necessary documents, has also been shared with the learned counsel for the petitioner during the course of hearing.

That being so, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he be permitted to withdraw this petition, at this stage, to enable the petitioner to move the respondent authorities, in the event, any cause of action/interest/dispute still survives, or file objections, if any, against the calculations, on the basis of which the impugned demand is sought to be justified.

To this, learned counsel for the respondents-HSVP submits that DEEPAK KUMAR 2024.11.12 11:55 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document P & H High Court, Chandigarh if any such representation/objections are moved, the same shall be taken

C.W.P. No.26202 of 2024 cognizance of forthwith and appropriate orders, in accordance with law, shall be passed at the earliest.

In the wake of the position sketched out above, and in terms of the statement made by learned counsel for the parties, this petition is accordingly disposed of.
