The instant petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 praying for issuance of directions to the Magistrate for sending the criminal complaint dated 31.01.2024 bearing No. CRM/428/2024 titled as "Dr. Pankaj Trivedi versus State of Punjab and others" which is stated to be fixed for 01.09.2025 to the Station House Officer, Police Station Navi Baradari, Jalandhar for registration of FIR and for conducting investigation in accordance with law. After arguing the matter at some length, Counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the instant writ petition so as to take all his remedies before the Illaqa Magistrate. He, however, contends that the Illaqa Magistrate may be directed to proceed expeditiously in the matter since the VISHAL SHARMA 2025.08.26 15:44 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

The Ilaqa Magistrate, seized with CRM/428/2024 titled as "Dr. Pankaj Trivedi versus State of Punjab and others", is requested to look into the matter and take an expeditious decision on the further course of action in the aforesaid complaint case.
