The petitioner Amandeep Singh has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.83 dated 21.07.2022 under Sections 406/498-A IPC registered at Police Station City Meharban, District Police Commissionerate Ludhiana. 2.
The brief facts of the case are that Sarabjeet Kaur filed written complaint against her husband Amandeep Singh and his family alleging that she got married on 10.10.2020. No child was born out of this wedlock. She was harassed by her husband and in-laws family in the matrimonial home. She was beaten up. She disclosed this fact to her parental family and they tried to make them understand but there was no change in their behaviour. Her husband used to beat her as instigated by her in-laws.
