Prayer in the instant petition, filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.), is for quashing the FIR No.75 dated 01.04.2020, under Sections 188, 270 IPC, registered at Police Station Model Town, District Hoshiarpur (Annexure P-1) along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom.

Notice of motion in this case was issued on 23.11.2022 by a Coordinate Bench of this Court. Thereafter, the matter stood adjourned on different dates and short reply dated 19.12.2022 was also placed on record by the respondent-State.

Today, during course of hearing, learned State Counsel has apprised this Court that Cancellation Report in the aforesaid FIR has already MONIKA 2025.05.16 18:26 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
