The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India is seeking directions to the respondents to decide representation dated 25.09.2023 (Annexure P/10) and change his date of birth in the passport.

As per passport, the date of birth of the petitioner is 08.10.1958 whereas he claims that his actual date of birth is 08.10.1956. 3.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner has been granted appointment. She assures the Court that passport authority would look into grievance of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law.
