- ( ),* This order shall dispose of two petitions, i.e. (i)

, filed for quashing of FIR No.0049 dated 07.05.2022, registered under Sections 323, 324, 148, 149 of IPC, 1860 (Section 326 IPC added later on vide Rapat No.036 dated 17.05.2022), at Police Station Khuian Sarwar, District Fazilka and all the consequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties; (ii)

, filed for quashing of cross case, being DDR No.45 dated 07.05.2022, registered under Sections 323, 148, 149 of IPC, 1860 in FIR No.0049 dated 07.05.2022, registered under Sections 323, 324, 148 and 149 of IPC, 1860 (Section 326 IPC added later on vide Rapat No.036 dated 17.05.2022), at Police Station Khuian Sarwar, District Fazilka, and all the consequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 26.09.2022 (Annexure P-2) arrived at between the parties.

Vide separate orders dated 23.11.2022 passed in

respectively, the Illaqa Magistrate/trial Court was directed to record the statements of the parties with regard to the genuineness and validity of the compromise.

In compliance thereof, the Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Abohar has submitted two separate reports, vide /

A perusal of the said reports would show that statements of the concerned persons have been recorded in the case, who have stated that the matter has been compromised and they have no objection in case the FIR No.0049 dated 07.05.2022 and DDR No.45 dated 07.05.2022 are quashed. They have further stated that the compromise

Learned counsel for respondents No.2 and 3 (in CRM-M54172-2022) and for respondent No.2 (in CRM-M-54297-2022) have again reiterated that the matter has been settled and the said compromise is in the interest of all the concerned persons and would help in bringing out peace and amity between the parties.
