The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus seeking issuance of directions to the official respondents No.1 to 3 to release the detenue-Harjot Kaur from illegal detention of respondents No. 4 and 5. 2.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Gurdeep Singh submits that detenue has been recovered and has been handed over to the petitioner and in the FIR offences under Section 376-D of IPC and Section 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act have been added vide GD No.24, dated 12.01.2024 and the detenue was produced before the concerned Jurisdictional Magistrate and her statement under Section 164 of Cr.P.C. was also recorded. 3.

In view of the above, nothing survives in the present petition and no further directions are required to be issued in the same. 4.
