Present petition has been filed praying for issuance of direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to conduct fair and impartial investigation in case FIR No.0157, dated 29.07.2024, under Sections 329(3), 62, 305, 324 of BNS, registered at Police Station Sadar Khanna, District Khanna and to add the other required Sections of BNS in the above said FIR and to arrest the accused persons mentioned in the above-said FIR, who are roaming scot free and openly threatening the petitioner with dire consequences and pressurizing the petitioner to enter into compromise with them. It is further prayed to issue directions to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner. It is also prayed to issue direction to respondent No.2 to decide the representation, dated 20.08.2024, Annexure P-2, within some time bound period.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that FIR in MEENU 2024.10.01 18:24 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document this case was registered on 29.07.2024 and till date neither the accused have

Notice of motion to respondents no.1 to 3-State only. 4.

On asking of the Court, Mr.Tarun Aggarwal, Sr.DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State and submits, on instructions from ASI Pargat Singh that investigation is going on in this case and during investigation three accused are named out of which two are unknown and despite their repeated raids, no one could be arrested and the investigation would be completed expeditiously after arrest of the accused.

In view of the above statement made by learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2Senior Superintendent of Police, Khanna, District Ludhiana, to ensure that the investigation in the above-mentioned case is completed expeditiously preferably within three months from today.
